Look A Like Shoes

Hello there....
Well, today is a lesson on look-a-like shoes on stardoll.
First of all, let us take a look at the Stardoll interpretations.

Here is the Evil Panda Miley Boots (40sc):

And here is its human equivalent - the Dr Martens 1460 W Boot. At a cost of £120 (use a converter to convert into your own national money) it is really expensive. Would you like to see the shoes?

Here they are!

See the likeness? I do. Yes, the stardoll version is a little brighter and doesn't have the proper laces, but the detailing is amazing. The stitching around the sole is also on the Stardoll replica and the side panels have the same dimensions. Now, I am going to use a simple Polyvore set to show you how Stardoll boots and Dr Martens go with similar outfits.

I used real components and labelled them as what they would be in Stardoll world.

Next is the ever famous.... BLACK PLEATHER PLATFORMS!!!
From Archive, these shoes are probably the most wanted pair of shoes in the Stardoll universe.

Here they are:

Now, as I do not have these shoes, I had to borrow someone who is called Daisygirlz and she has given me permission.
As Daisygirlz was wearing the above shoes as her outfit, I decided to be clever and put her outfit on here. She is wearing the pleather platforms, Bonjour Bizou socks on top of her Fame Pantyhose, an ELLE Basic Miniskirt, Pretty'n'Love Soft White Top, DVF Oversized Bow, Frankie Morello Bolts and Dice Necklace and Pyramid Bracelet.

On with the look-a-likes.
The real life version is...
Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes.

I think the Stardoll version are very much the same, just with a lighter "wood" for the heel. You can see that the heels are really quite high, the boots end just below the ankle bone and the eyelets to put the laces into stand out. I personally quite like the shoe, shame about the huge cost of $159.95 per pair!

Next shoes are the Archive USA Print Shoes!

JJ♥, our writer, got some USA flag converse shoes - and then I found them on Stardoll!

I bought them for 200sd from the bazaar, probably a rip-off haha. Anyhoo, here is a pic of real-life ones:

Stardoll's recreation of it is a little less faded, but otherwise look pretty similar.

Next is Hotbuys Uggs.

They are based on Ugg Australia's Women's Baileys Button Triple boots.

They seem to look like the Stardoll version in many ways - from the fluff popping out behind the buttons and the stitching to the buttons and size. The image I have shown you are slightly lighter than the Stardoll version but asides from that, its an almost perfect match.
